I’m McKenzie, the heart behind Vine and Lens Photography.
I believe in capturing the beauty God has placed all around us in people, places, and the everyday moments.

Vine & Lens Photography was born from a love of storytelling and a heart to see God’s beauty in every moment. I do photography to capture the beauty of His creation and the stories He writes in every season. Through my lens, I hope to freeze moments of light, love, and faith, reminding us that even the smallest details reflect His glory.
Each session is more than a photo opportunity. It’s a chance to pause, breathe, and notice the grace woven into everyday life. Whether it’s a quiet glance, a burst of laughter, or the warmth of a sunset, I want every image to point back to the One who created it all.
My prayer is that when you look back on your photos, you see not just memories, but the goodness and faithfulness of God shining through every frame.
I’m a lover of golden hour light, cozy coffee moments, and capturing the joy that God places in everyday life. The name Vine & Lens comes from John 15, a reminder that I’m simply a branch connected to the true Vine, using my lens to reflect His beauty. I’m a wife and a proud graduate of Slippery Rock University, where I earned two college degrees that shaped both my creativity and my heart for people. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me sipping an iced coffee, listening to worship music while editing, or spending time outdoors soaking in God’s creation. I adore sessions that include laughter, genuine connection, and even furry friends. Photography for me isn’t just about pictures. It’s about freezing the small, sacred moments that tell the story of God’s goodness.
My heart behind every session is to create a calm, joy-filled experience where you can truly be yourself. I believe photography should feel natural, not forced, so I focus on capturing genuine moments rather than perfect poses. Before your session, I take time to get to know you, your story, your vision, and what moments matter most.
During the shoot, I gently guide you with prompts and ideas that bring out real smiles, laughter, and connection. My goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident, so every photo reflects who you are.
After your session, I carefully hand-edit each image to highlight natural light and authentic emotion. You will receive a gallery filled with warm, timeless photos that tell your story and reflect the beauty God has written into your life.
From the moment you reach out, my goal is to make your experience peaceful, personal, and filled with joy. We will start by chatting about your vision and what moments you want to remember most. I will help you choose a location, plan outfits if you’d like, and prepare for a session that feels effortless and true to you.
On the day of your session, you can expect a relaxed atmosphere filled with laughter, light, and genuine connection. I’ll guide you naturally, so nothing feels stiff or posed, just the beauty of real moments as they unfold.
